I'm sorry that I've been off-line for a couple of days. I had a last minute opportunity to go and see my best friend for a couple of days. I made arrangements to have my children's schedule covered and took the opportunity to re-charge my batteries. I felt selfish...for a nano-second!
I feel that it is so important , especially with the scheduling demands of our modern society, to make time to be "just Paula'. Not the 5 kid's mom, not Joe's wife...just Paula, just for a few days.
We giggled, we ate, I worked out when and how long I wanted (which is relaxing and energizing to me). We figured out the 'world's-woes', and I came back to being mom and wife, school volunteer and .MD blogger with more energy and hopefully, a bit more patience. A win-win for all!!!
