These are true stories not myth... If you juice daily with a slow speed masticating juicer to reduce heat so as not to destroy the properties of the cancer fighting agents of carrots or wheatgrass, you can in some cases stop and even reverse cancer with the cancer fighting properties of these juices (especially carrots). I personally have 3 friends/acquaintances that have had different cancers and all 3 have been juicing on a regular basis and are in remission or cancer free, in their own words, thanks to carrots and other natural supplements for over 7 years. Every person reacts differently to the effects of juicing just like they do with most medicines or other cures. Hope this helps some of you and your family members!
One side effect of juicing and drinking large quantities (1 quart/day the first 6 weeks then 1 glass a day afterwards) of carrot juice is that your skin will turn slightly orange in color and you may get a nail fungus if you are not good when peeling the carrots and washing them. Your doctor can help you treat the fungus much easier if caught early. Your doctor should know about this but if not, just read about it. It is also important to juice fresh everyday and not drink the juice if more than 24 to 48 hours old as the cancer fighting properties diminish over time (too much hard work to prepare drink without maximum benefits!)
Remember there are extremely high concentrates of beta-carotene (an effective cancer-fighting agent) in carrot juice and it is said to actually help reduce the risks of breast and skin cancer.
A great recipe is to juice using an apple a beet and the balance of many carrots.... the apple makes the juice taste much better and the juiced beet is also good for you.
